MFC offers work trade options and financial aid for eligible campers. Please read the following information carefully and then find links to the applications at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A primary volunteer<\/strong> (100% scholarship) is expected to be on duty 6 hours a day\/30 hours total, over 5 days. This time may not allow for primary instrument workshops if accepted as a primary volunteer and are attending as musicians. Limited number of volunteer positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Work scholarship <\/strong>(50% discount) recipient is expected to be on duty for 3 hours a day\/15 hours total, over 5 days, but not during primary instrument workshops. Limited number of volunteer positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Regular campers may volunteer<\/strong> at any time during our camp sessions. There are always tasks that can be done around food prep, serving and clean up (with kitchen staff approval), grounds maintenance (picking up trash, dishes, stray clothing), setting up and tearing down chairs and tables, preparing dance floors for dances and workshops, help installing and disassembling tent walls, helping youth counselors, and the list goes on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Volunteers may select which job(s) they are interested in and willing to commit to.\u00a0 A Volunteer Coordinator will help schedule times that will work for you. Volunteer positions are limited and are on a first come first served basis. Tuition payment is required from all campers and volunteers to be registered to attend camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We do also have a limited number of scholarships based on financial need. These requests are approved by our Camp Director. Please include information about your situation and if a “work exchange” job would work for you.
